César and Lázaro Saavedra Nande are an artistic duo whose practice operates at the intersection of visual arts, classical dance, and action art. Integrating their respective backgrounds — Lázaro holding a B.A. in Visual Arts from the Higher Institute of Art (ISA, 2020) and César as a professional graduate in Classical Ballet from the "Fernando Alonso" National Ballet School (2017) — the duo develops a hybrid language where corporeality serves as the primary vehicle for sociopolitical interrogation.

Their work is articulated through a series of interventions titled "Actions," a process-based project that between 2020 and 2025 has explored creative resistance in the face of precariousness and institutional control. Through the use of radical symbolism and visceral provocation, the Saavedra Nande brothers seek to dismantle observer passivity, inviting the public into a collective construction of meaning surrounding critical themes such as censorship, the migratory crisis, and systemic collapse.
